Finally, I have started my work in store at Marina Square. Anyway, I am a type of person that hate to be late and won't do any of the last minute stuff. Thus, I reached Marina Square at 8am even though my work started at 9am sharp. I sat alone and did afraid to ask any partners there. I sat until 9am then Alex,my partner, finally reached to the store. We went to find any manager is on shift today. Anyway, my manager,Oyah who is very friendly was not on morning shift today! sad :(Aisyah, another manager did on duty so she taught me here and there. Anyway, I should not say anyhing about Starbucks' stuff since I am a Starbucks' partner now too. Just for my friends know that I am not statisfied with my partners' doing! I could spot their mistakes. I think I better don't tell Oyah anything about it. I hope I will perform well so that my effort is paid off.Today, I learnt a lot of practical stuff in Starbucks even though I was not happy with the people there. But I still love Oyah. haahaha. Whatever that Starbucks taught me during the training class at Commonwealth, I don't think my partners follow it. Anyway, hope we can work together as a team partners and make our Starbucks @ Marina Square to be a Great Starbucks Store! :)I have gotten my Green Apron. I love it! Yea, Starbucks doesn't use " Thank you very much" but we use " Thank you very nice" hahahaha. LOLIn fact, I told myself I didn't think I could survive in Starbucks since the environment was not that good but I think it is because I haven't adjusted to the Starbucks' environment yet.I do miss my new rented room. miss my new furniture. miss my new bed. miss my new study table. hahaha. everything:)hahaha,Bryan called me justnow. Talked about Starbucks. He kept saying "the paying is like shit lal" hahahaa. Anyway, working at Starbucks is not an easy job. Really! It seems fun when you can make your own drink and serve the customers but you still need to face a lot of problems there. Somemore, majority in my store is Malays, they love to talk in Malay, lucky, I understand Malay, if not hahahah, I don't know whether they are talking about me or not! Anyway, I need to sweep the floor, clean the plates, cups and glasses, throw the rubbish, memorise the short form of the berverages. If I can't do it well, I am not able to make my own beverages. The job is tough but I think I still have the patient to do it well if Oyah guides me along! :)I do miss my training partners! We are new and working at the different store. I love my class! Fun and Lively!Don't worry! I will do my best in Starbucks!
